Rostalyn Guest House

Rostalyn Guest House is situated in the heart of Umhlanga , the central tourist hub of Durban, Kwazulu Natal. The Guesthouse consists of eight (8) en suite bedrooms, which are fully air-conditioned, furnished with all luxuries, including DSTV, hair dryers, bar fridges and a daily in-house maid service. One of the rooms is a family room which sleeps 4 people. Breakfast is available daily for the duration of your visit.

The Guest House encompasses a warm , friendly ambiance with professional staff, always ready and willing to give you top star treatment. We are situated in a prime spot in Umhlanga, overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean, within a few minutes away from prime bathing beaches and the largest shopping mall in Africa, Gateway Theatre of Shopping.

A 10 minute drive will get you to our pristine, Moses Mabhida Stadium, for a fun ride up the Sky Cab, where you can oversee the Indian Ocean from a good 150m off the ground and jet off to Suncoast Casino, a Sun Internal Casino directly opposite from the Stadium.

General :
The Guesthouse consist of eight(8) en-suite bedrooms, which are fully air-conditioned, furnished with all luxuries including DSTV, Hair Dryers, Bar Fridge and a daily housekeeper service.

Family Rooms:
This is a ground floor suite with a gated parking area. Accommodation in a family room is with a queen sized bed and a bunk bed, sleep four (4) people. The fully equipped kitchen flows onto the dining and lounge areas, which opens out onto a charming patio & garden, overlooking the swimming pool

Sea Breeze Suite:
This beautiful suite is located on the upper floor and sports great sea views with French doors opening onto your private balcony. This unit has all trimmings, to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The Rock Pool Suite:
This is the Gem of the Guesthouse and also the largest. It sports two (2) double rooms, each leading onto a separate bathroom. The formal lounge and dining room are beautifully decorated and flow onto an exquisite rock pool - great for entertaining guests on hot summer evenings or maybe a late breakfast served on the pool patio.
