LovanE is one of the smallest wine estates near Stellenbosch, situated in the picturesque Boland, neighbouring the famous Neethlingshof Wine Estate and Overgaauw Wine Estate. 2.5 Hectare vineyards were planted on virgin land in 2003. The plantings consist of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. The first wine was produced in 2006. Guinea fowl, spotted dikkops and partridges roam freely in the vineyards.
